“Wake Up with No Makeup”: Santhy Krishna’s Promise to Every Woman

Success is built on passion, persistence, and an unyielding drive for growth. Santhy Krishna, a name now synonymous with excellence in the beauty and aesthetics industry, exemplifies this journey. From humble beginnings in Cherthala, Alappuzha, to establishing a thriving business in India and now expanding to London, her story is one of dedication, transformation, and continuous learning.
Hailing from Cherthala, Alappuzha, Santhy began her career as a therapy teacher for differently-abled children, specializing in physiotherapy and speech therapy. She worked in various special schools, making a difference in many lives. However, a career break led her to discover her true calling—beauty and aesthetics. With an inherent passion for the field, she decided to turn it into her profession. She pursued a postgraduate degree in aesthetic cosmetology, later earning a PhD from Manipal University. To refine her expertise, she attended various advanced training sessions across Kerala, Bangalore, and Delhi.
In 2012, she founded San’s Beauty Clinic in Aroor, Cherthala, offering cutting-edge skin and beauty treatments. The clinic quickly gained success, attracting a loyal clientele seeking expert care. Encouraged by this achievement, she expanded her mission by founding San’s Academy, an institute dedicated to educating aspiring beauty professionals and updating the knowledge of existing beauty artists. The academy has since produced numerous skilled entrepreneurs, particularly women, who have gone on to build their own successful careers in the beauty industry. Santhy credits Nevin Philip, her former professor and now Head of the Department at San’s Academy, for playing a crucial role in establishing the academy.

Her journey in aesthetics reached a significant milestone when she had the opportunity to work under Dr. Shibu Mohammed, a renowned consultant dermatologist and cosmetologist at Fascia SVSM Healthcare. This experience deepened her understanding of advanced skin treatments and further enhanced her expertise. She later expanded her business with a new branch in Kakkanad, continuing to flourish in the field.
Despite her success, Santhy’s thirst for growth led her to London, where she took a career break to work as a social worker with organizations like 24/7 UK support limited and Walstead UK. However, her passion for aesthetics never faded. With increasing inquiries from her clients and new insights gained from her London experience, she decided to reignite her business dreams. She is currently completing an advanced course in London’s aesthetic cosmetology, preparing to launch her next venture—a San’s Beauty Clinic branch in London.
Throughout her journey, Santhy has had unwavering support from her family. She credits her father, Unni Krishnan, as her backbone, managing her business in Kerala whenever she is abroad. Her mother, Rajeshwari, has also been a pillar of support, and her 11-year-old son, Navthej, remains her biggest source of inspiration.
Santhy Krishna’s story is an inspiring testament to the power of perseverance and vision. Her philosophy, “Continuous effort is the key to success”, has driven her across borders, industries, and challenges. With family as her backbone and clients as her motivation, she has built a business empire from the ground up. “A defining aspect of her brand is its commitment to enhancing natural beauty. Her slogan, “Wake up with no makeup,” is not just a tagline but a promise to her clients—delivering personalized skin solutions that empower individuals to feel confident in their natural beauty. This philosophy is at the heart of San’s Beauty Clinic’s success, shaping its innovative approach to aesthetic treatments.

As she prepares to expand her business to London, Santhy Krishna continues to inspire countless individuals, proving that with dedication and vision, one can turn their passion into a legacy. Her journey—from a therapy teacher to a celebrated entrepreneur—is a powerful reminder that continuous effort and adaptability are the true keys to success.
